On the 3rd February 2020 the Commission commenced its second session of hearings for 2020. 5 cases were ongoing and 11 new complaints heard. In addition, 12 General witnesses were called to give evidence about the Command structure of the Seychelles Peoples Defence Forces and the activities of the Intelligence Unit at State House. During its hearings the Commission heard testimony on the disappearance of Andrew Pouponneau, the victimisation and Imprisonment of Roy BeeHarry, Claude Bijoux and John Dookley, the killing of Simon Desnousse, Mike Asher and Michael Hoffman, and the disappearance of Gilbert Morgan and Hassan Ali. The commission also heard from Honorable Flory Larue in regards to Government land in Seychelles and from Ibrahim Afif with respect to his former employment with the Seychelles Broadcasting Corporation and on the Radio Programme “Konplo 412”.
